To plan your own wedding is a huge project. It involves a large number of guests, meals, sponsors, decorations, dresses, and so on. The wedding planner needs tremendous amount of time to organize the requirements.

Each group of community may have different traditions, beliefs, and customs. For example, the Asian community has the tendency for big wedding. All the relatives will come from different parts of the globe.

First, select the best wedding date. Most wedding date falls on the summer months. It is mostly sunny and warm. The weather will not likely to ruin the precious moments of wedding. Memorable wedding dates are Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Christmas Day, or Thanksgiving Day. If you want the most memorable wedding date, you can choose 777 wedding date. The 777 wedding date is a wedding on July 7, 2007. It is easy to remember. The husband will always remember the wedding anniversary.

Next, decide how much you want to spend on wedding. The cost of wedding had gone up. Currently, the cost of wedding averages from $15,000 to $20,000. At this stage, the wedding planner creates an overview on theme of wedding, venue for wedding, and reception for wedding.

Then, build the guest and sponsor list. Here, the bride and groom decide the number of guests and sponsors. This is the tough part, because you may not want to leave someone out.

After, make reservation for the venue of the wedding and reception. During the busy wedding season (summer), the reservation may be a little tough to get. In some cases, you will need to wait a year to make reservation.

And after, meet the licensed wedding minister who will wed you. The minister directs how the exchange of vows is coordinated. There may be appropriate and inappropriate things for the wedding. The wedding vows may be the traditional wedding vows which is a safe option. However, the bride and groom may write their own wedding vows.

And then, choose your favorite theme for wedding. Depending on the season, some wedding ideas may be appropriate for the wedding. For example, the snow flakes, sparkles, glitters, and white are synonymous for the winter season. Think of winter wonderland, snow flakes, garlands, and sparkles for wedding theme.

And, spruce up the wedding with wedding flowers and florist. The wedding flowers add finesse and style to the wedding. Some flowers may be abundant on particular season only. For example, the Aster, Chrysanthemum, Dahlia, Marigold, and Zinnia are fall wedding flowers. Choosing the abundant flower on a particular season, you may pay less for wedding flowers. The florist mainly arranges the flower for reception, centerpieces, hairclips, bouquets, tosses, corsages, hairclips, flower girl baskets, nosegays, buttonholes, and decoration.

Next, pick the best wedding dresses and attires. On this precious moment, you would want to look your very best. It is also recommended for the groomsmen look similar with the best man, and bridesmaids look similar with the maid of honor.

Next, pick the wedding photographer. The wedding photography captures the magic of the moment. So, you can remember the timeless treasure of wedding. A good photographer will give the negatives to you. So, you can make more copies without asking for permission to the photographer. However, some photographer will insist to keep the negatives for certain period of time. Usually, the photographer will keep for two years. After two years, the photographer throws the negative away. So, you may ask the photographer to give the negatives after two years.

Finally, send the wedding invitations to the guests and sponsors. The print shops can customize the invitations which come in many elegant designs. Receiving the wedding invitations, the guests and sponsors confirm their attendance and participation to your wedding.
