Me – a girl love it. Husband – after scoffing at it when the box arrived – too lazy to go outside tent in thunder & lightning – used it! Husband used it when in traffic jams. *sigh* I bought it for myself but am not getting much of a look in.

Geography trips with teenage girls who are very anxious about going to yucky toilets so in danger of dehydrating as they wont drink – a relief saver.

Girls you absolutely have to ‘fit’ it snugly so no leaking occurs. In the tent use in a torso upright/ kneeling position works very well. Put a small towel on floor if you are anxious about overflow (c below)

Just wanted to add, this works the same way as modern diapers/nappies…No..not like that! It has a gel inside that absorbs the liquid which becomes soft/solid and doesnt pour or leak out. My other tip is do not move it when in position, you may be tempted to do so as urine is very warm on “exit” and you may think you are wetting your hand. You will soon be able to tell the difference.

The re-sealable top is useful if you havent filled the bag you can re-open it and re-use and no it really doesnt smell. Do not flush down a toilet but put in bins or if camping in a dug latrine as it is biodegradable

Buy as many as you can afford.

This is a great addition to any camping trip or festival.

I had never been to a festival until last weekend. For many years I have been trying to coming to terms with the emotional scarring received from a week long camping trip at the age of 11, where it rained all week and I couldn’t find the door to the tent in the night to go out for a wee! A most distressing event, both for myself and my two sisters who were sharing the tent with me!!….May I use this oportunity to apologise publically to them. Sorry guys.

I saw Travel John advertised, and so ordered it, not without reservation. On it’s arrival I could see little to assure me of it’s effectiveness. However this weekend, in the pouring rain, it proved invaluable. Such a relief, (so to speak), not to have to leave the tent in the dead of night. They hold 800 ml, which sound a lot but if you’re sharing a tent with a beer monster like I was, it’s best to have 5 bags per 3 night away. Highly recommended.

I bought some of these for a summer camping trip…you know…packed field, toilets a mile down the hill. Absolutely fantastic. Saved me many walks.

My 4 year old son also uses them in the car on long trips. Much easier than clearing up a mess. Doesn’t work for girls in the car but really great for boys.

What an amazing invention! Just been to the Isle of Wight festival. At the front of the crowd for 5 hours waiting for headliner bands, no one even knows or cares you are using it. In the tent and the revolting portaloos too far away? Just use the bag! Perfect for male or female. The liquid solidifies and you throw it away. I will be buying some more and giving them to all my camping and festival friends.

I found these really useful when I couldn’t face a freezing 5am walk to the toilets. They were easy to use and easily held a bladderful of wee!
