Karl Pilkington is a natural! For anyone who saw the first episode of An Idiot Abroad and enjoyed it, they are in for a treat with this book which is full of great writing, well-designed and packed with photos. The way the Gervais and Merchant are woven into the story is very effective too. All in all a great book and I can’t wait for the rest of the series. Karl really does have some terrible experiences to come!!

More great stuff from the round headed genius. Listened to Ricky, Steve & Karl right from the early days of XFM, and I stuck with them all this time. So glad Karl’s finally got his own show!

I love the series, and I love this book. Buy it now.

    I just LOVE KARL PILKINGTON!!!

At first I was sketpical about buying this book as the majority of Karl’s journey will be shown on Sky. However I decided to take a chance, and I’m glad I did. For anyone familiar with Karl’s podcasts etc, the book is written exactly how Karl talks, which I found was a unique touch. The book is filled my comedy and has a great insight to Karl’s trips to all 7 wonders, how thoughts and feelings and even has coloured photos of some of his experiences. I highly recommend this book as I cannot seem to put it down!
