Some don’t. Some offer a “get home safe” kind of deal.

But don’t expect every taxi service to offer it.

And don’t be surprised if they send you a bill later. You ARE still using their fuel, time, and service. They just might not charge you at the time.

In London the driver will just leave you in the street and you will hear them laughing as they drive away!

I’d suggest you call a taxi company and ask. If there’s any deal like that, every company will know.

If the taxi is owned by a company such as “Yellow” then most companies will give free New Years rides to drunks to save lives. Most independent drivers that own their own taxi could but usually won’t because they most likely need the money.

It’s a courtesy some company’s do. Where I live, they make a deal with Bars and such and split tips or make some other arrangement. This also helps them score points with cops.
